UNEXPECTED PACKAGES AND EXPLOSIVE NEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today started with a bag!! I had not long returned from my travels I have spent the last two nights teaching Baby Vlad the rudiments of of night flying!!
ON my return the human mother approached me and said a package had arrived addressed to me. Apparently she and the human father took it upon their selves to open it! Luckily for them I am a very forgiving Vampire and I decided not to punish them for their nosiness!
The package , as it turns out was from the tame humans belonging to the Empress Valentina on the Isle of White!! Apparently they discovered a Baby Vampire left on their front doorstep...with Two notes attached, one saying "I can't cope ...I got no hope ... this belongs to Vlad" the other is the one you can read from the photo at the top of this blog!!! . Well being the wonderful person that she is the Matriarch took the baby in , fed and clothed it and then made preparations to send him on to me!! Well I can assure you this took me all completely by surprise but as I am a true and honest Vampire I sat down at once at the computer and email the Matriarch immediately to let her now all was well and I was not about to shirk my responsibilities!! I have enclosed a copy of that email below!

MY DEAREST MATRIARCH
THANK YOU FOR TAKING MY SON IN , HOW HE ARRIVED ON YOUR DOORSTEP IS A MYSTERY TO ME??
I DO NOT HAVE ILLEGITIMATE PRODIGY ALL MY OFFSPRING ARE RECOGNISED AND BY VAMPIRE LAW AUTOMATICALLY LEGITIMATE!!!! AS FOR THE MOTHER OF THIS UNFORTUNATE CHILD, I SHALL BE SEEKING HER OUT AND ASCERTAINING WHY SHE SAW FIT TO ABANDON HIM ON YOU DOOR STEP.
ALL I CAN SAY IN HER DEFENCE IS THAT IS WAS A SIMPLE COUNTRY GIRL AND OBVIOUSLY NOT ONE OF YOUR ISLANDS' BRIGHTEST STARS? LET US ALL BE THANKFUL THAT SHE HAD, AT LEAST , THE PRESENCE OF MIND TO DEPOSIT THE BABE ON YOUR DOOR STEP.
I AM MOST GRATEFUL THAT YOU HAVE TAKEN THE CHILD IN AND SUITABLE ATTIRED AND I ASSUME FED HIM. I AM EVEN MORE GRATEFUL THAT YOU HAVE SEEN FIT TO FORWARD HIM TO ME, YOU ARE VERY TRUSTING SOULS SENDING THIS PRECIOUS CARGO VIA THE MAIL SERVICE AND NOT USING A COURIER !!!
THE VLADDETTE IS DELIGHTED AT THE PROSPECT OF ANOTHER CHILD IN THE FAMILY AND EARTH MOTHER THAT SHE IS , IS AS WE SPEAK MAKING SURE THAT BABY VLAD (MY FIRST HEIR) IS AWARE OF THE SITUATION SO THAT THERE WILL BE NO VAMPIRE WARS WHEN THE TWO BOYS MEET.
I MUST AGAIN THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART ( SHAME THAT I DO NOT HAVE A HEART BUT YOU GET MY DRIFT).

Well what can I say there is no denying it you can see at a glance ...even though it is obvious that there is peasant stock abundantly present in this child he is , unequivocally mine!! and I shall be taking full responsibility for him as second heir to my throne.
Annuska and Ivan have already been into see him and are totally charmed with their new grandvampire !
Tomorrow I shall be taking both boys to the Castle in Transylvania to meet the grandmother with the Invisible cape !! ....... I must away now as duty calls and try as I may I cannot turn a deaf ear......
